The 49th OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition was held May 31st and June 1st at the Hilton Hotel in Costa Mesa.
The Orange County Wine Society and the OC Fair and Event Center sponsor the Competition which judges wines made only from grapes grown in California. There are no entry fees and the wines are judged by professional winemakers or winery principals. The wines are cataloged by varietal, price and sugar levels. 2260 wines were entered into the competition in 2024.
Wines entered will be highlighted and available for purchase by the glass at The Wine Courtyard at the OC Fair staffed by OCWS volunteers. The 2025 OC Fair begins mid July and runs through mid August for 23 days.
