OCWS COVID GUIDELINES FOR IN-PERSON EVENTS

All OCWS events will be under OCWS Covid Guidelines, which follow CDC, Cal-OSHA, OC Health Department and OCFEC mandated guidelines, no matter where the event is held, be it a private or public venue.

We are prepared to change guidelines, if necessary, as required by government agencies and will do our best to notify event attendees in the event of any changes.

Following are the current OCWS Covid guidelines that will be required of members to attend any in-person OCWS event until further notice:

  • Proof of vaccination (2 doses – booster is not required at this time) or verification of a negative Covid test (either PCR or Rapid Test) from a certified testing site within 48 hours of an event will be required (at home test results will not be accepted).
  • Verification will be mandatory upon check in at any event, at any venue.
  • Masking will be required indoors unless actually eating or drinking.

For upcoming work parties on the fairgrounds, the following will be required in accordance with government agencies and OCFEC guidelines:

  • Proof of vaccination (2 doses – booster is not required at this time) or verification of a negative Covid test (either PCR or Rapid Test) from a certified testing site within 48 hours of working (at home test results will not be accepted).
  • Mandatory masking in all buildings.
  • Masking outdoors optional, but highly recommended.
  • Social Distancing (6’) if at all possible.
