SUMMARY:Installation Dinner
DESCRIPTION:The annual Installation Dinner for the Orange County Wine Society will feature a gourmet\, four-course dinner at Yves’ Restaurant.  The evening will begin with a Sparkling Wine reception to allow members to mingle prior to dinner. The OCWS will provide selected wines from our cellar to accompany the meal. Members are welcome to bring a special cellar quality bottle of their own wine (no corkage fees). Due to the wide variety of wines being shared\, members are strongly encouraged to bring their own champagne and wine glasses.  The event will provide members the opportunity to welcome the newly elected Board members as well as honor the hard work of the outgoing Board members. \nMenu\nAppetizers\nHawaiian Lobster Cake\nProscuitto Wrapped Mini Brie\nStuffed Mushroom \nSalad Course\nOrange Pecan Endive\nEuropean greens tossed in a sweet orange vinaigrette\ndressing\, topped with homemade candied pecans\nand crumbled Montrachet chevre cheese\nMain Course\nChoice of one of the following:\nFilet Mignon\nCognac demi glace\, with Cremini & Shiitake mushrooms;\nserved with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables\nGrouper with Tropical Salsa\nFresh grilled Grouper topped with a topped with a fresh tropical\nfruit\, served on bed of Israeli cous cous with fresh vegetables\nDuck Breast Montmorency\nServed with wild mushroom risotto\nand lightly herbed fresh vegetables\nPoulet con Risotto\nLightly seasoned breast of chicken\, with sun dried tomatoes\,\ncrispy prosciutto\, Cremini mushrooms\, finished with\na touch of cream\, served with mushroom risotto\nDessert\nChoice of one of the following:\nChocolate Lover’s Soufflé\nA decadent chocolate soufflé and chocolate chunks served\nwith chocolate ice cream & a rich chocolate sauce\nBananas Foster\nBananas flamed in a sauce of butter\, brown sugar\, cinnamon\,\nand dark coffee rum served over caramel-sea salt ice cream\nCrème Brûlée\nCreamy custard topped with caramelized sugar\nserved with fresh berries \nThe cost will be $59 for members and $65 for guests\, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
