DESCRIPTION:What do you get when you blend the holidays with friends\, food\, music\, and dancing? The OCWS Holiday Dinner Dance! It’s time to start planning your outfit\, your tablemates\, and your evening of festive fun. We’re excited to announce that the 2025 OCWS Holiday Dinner Dance will be held on Friday\, December 5th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Costa Mesa (on Bristol\, across the 405 Freeway from South Coast Plaza). \nThe celebration begins with a sparkling wine reception and hors d’oeuvres\, followed by a three-course plated dinner in the ballroom. During dinner\, the Costa Mesa Fire Department will arrive to collect toys generously donated by OCWS members for the “Spark of Love” toy drive. Then the DJ music starts\, and the dance floor comes alive with your favorite tunes from your favorite eras! Throughout the evening\, you’ll enjoy toasts with friends\, a festive photo booth\, and plenty of OCWS wines from the cellar (bring a special bottle to share\, too!). Other beverages will be available for purchase at the hotel bar. \nNew this year:\n• Complimentary keepsake photos (printed or digital) courtesy of the OCWS Photography Committee.\n• A quiet foyer space to sip\, chat\, and relax.\n• More surprises revealed the night of the event! \nThe evening includes dinner\, wine\, music\, tax\, tip\, and parking—all for $99 for members and $109 for guests. Take a walk through wines from the bottom half of the globe! \nWinemakers of the Southern Hemisphere may use familiar varietals\, but the wines they make are unique expressions of their regions and climates. Join us as we travel from South America to South Africa to Australia and New Zealand to learn more about these exceptional singular wines and styles. \nThis 2-hour seminar is scheduled for Thursday\, November 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Costa Mesa.
