SUMMARY:Spring Social - Escape the Ordinary
DESCRIPTION:Spring is just around the corner and so is our Spring Social when we’ll be throwing a tropical\, Tiki-themed luau! \nJoin us for an adventurous afternoon and evening where the rhythm of the tropics meets the sophistication of wine. Enjoy games\, prizes\, music and dancing with fellow members and friends\, new and old. Sip our curated wines — there will be a little ‘aloha’ in every glass. The Cook’s Caucus will be preparing a delectable island-inspired menu for us all to savor. \nSway\, hula\, or limbo (if you dare!) to the beats of our favorite DJ\, Henry Martinez. Remember to arrive in your finest tiki attire as there will be a costume contest\, the “Wahine” (Gal) and “Kane” (Guy) who best exemplify the aloha spirit will receive a prize. \nAs always\, we will be featuring the Wine Wall with proceeds going to our Scholarship Fund. Grab a bottle of wine for $20 (cash only). Additionally\, we welcome our home winemaker’s group who will be on hand to share the fruit of their endeavors. \nCheck out the new party venue at the OC Fair\, Baja Bar & Grill! We will have use of both the indoor spaces as well as the deck and lawn area. You are probably familiar with its location\, just east of The Hanger. Parking will be adjacent to the event\, across the pathway. \nJoin the luau crew! Volunteers will be needed for setup\, sign-in\, pouring wine\, serving food\, and clean up. Help make the day successful. You will have the opportunity to sign up to assist as you purchase your tickets on our website. \nMark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!
