SUMMARY:New Member Mixer
DESCRIPTION:New to OCWS? Come Meet Your Wine Society!\nYou joined the Orange County Wine Society—now come discover everything that’s waiting for you. \nIf you joined OCWS on or after July 1\, 2025\, and have not previously attended a New Member Mixer\, we invite you to join us for a fun and casual afternoon of wine\, food\, conversation and new friendships. \nTo make it convenient for members throughout Orange County\, we’ll be hosting three New Member Mixers at the same time—one each in South\, Central and North Orange County. When you register\, we’ll assign you to a gathering within approximately 15 miles of your home. \nWine\, Charcuterie & New Friends \nOur New Member Mixer is designed to help you go from simply being an OCWS member to feeling like part of the OCWS family. \nLongtime OCWS members will host each gathering\, with board members and other experienced members on hand to welcome you\, answer questions and share their experiences. \nOver wine and charcuterie\, you’ll have an opportunity to meet other members and learn more about the many ways to enjoy your OCWS membership. We’ll share information about upcoming events\, activities and programs\, as well as the many volunteer opportunities that are a great way to meet people and become involved. \nThere will be a short presentation and handouts to help you learn more about the organization—but this is a mixer\, so expect plenty of time to socialize\, ask questions\, enjoy some wine and get to know one another. \n Who Can Attend? \nThe New Member Mixer is open to OCWS members who: \n\nJoined OCWS on or after July 1\, 2025\nHave not previously attended a New Member Mixer\n\nFor dual memberships\, one or both members are welcome to attend. \nBest of all\, there is no charge to attend! \nSign Up Early—Space Is Limited \nRegistration is available online through October 20 or until all three locations are filled\, whichever comes first. \nBecause attendance at each home is limited\, please register only if you plan to attend. We understand that plans sometimes change. If you discover after registering that you’re unable to join us\, please contact Carolyn Christian at carolyn@OCWS.org as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another new member. \nWhether you joined OCWS for the wine\, the education\, the events\, the friendships—or a little bit of everything—we hope you’ll join us on October 24. \n Come enjoy a glass of wine\, meet some new friends\, and discover how to make the most of your OCWS membership. We can’t wait to welcome you! \n
