This casual outdoor evening of food, wine, music and fun at the River Oaks Hot Springs will be held August 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Come out and meet 30 of the appellation’s finest winemakers as they pair their own grilled culinary creations with some of their best wines.
If you enjoy choice wine, excellent food (supervised by Paso Robles Wine Country’s finest winemakers), live music by Julie Beaver and the Bad Dogs and a great time, come join us at the 12th-Annual Rotary Winemaker's Cookoff. All Cookoff proceeds go to the Harlow Ford Scholarship Foundation benefiting local high school seniors. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $300,000 in scholarships.
Plan to make it a Winemakers’ Weekend as wine discounts, extra events and ticket- accommodation discount packages will be available for the weekend of August 6-8 to Cookoff attendees. There will also be as many as six local hotels offering accommodation/ticket/shuttle discounts. Driving Directions:
You can get to River Oaks Hot Springs by turning from Hwy. 46 East (1 mile east of Hwy. 101 or 1 mile west of Golden Hill Drive) to Buena Vista Drive (the La Quinta Inn and the Martin & Weyrich Winery tasting room are on each corner); turn north on Buena Vista for ¼-mile to Dallons Drive turn left and head northwest (Dallons Drive becomes River Oaks Drive).
